Has anyone done an in-person or online program that addresses poor posture, especially rounded shoulders, tech neck, and neck hump? Has anything helped and, if so, what? |
I did PT for this because I was having related neck pain. It helped quite a bit and I have to keep up the exercises. |
+an enthusiastic number!! I was referred to PT for migraines and while I think it was the magnesium and B vitamin that helped, my starter dowager hump and weak posture are gone. MedX machines are what I worked on but I had a bundle of exercises to do too. PT can get rid of that hump if you catch it early and do the work to keep it gone. |
Good for you! Who did you see. What type of magnesium and dose? |
Yes, PT corrected mine quickly. I think I did 2x week for 6 weeks. I backslid when I quit doing exercises, but was able to regain benefits by getting back on the orogram. |
Should add that mine was covered by insurance because I was having pain. Doc took me at my word, no tests. I just said I had pain and they referred me to PT. |
Archer Rows. Google on youtube.
A trainer taught me them. I did thousands over a 6 month period. My posture was great at month 7. |

The chiropractor told my teen son to lie on his back on his bed with his head hanging off and supported by the side of the mattress when he is looking at his phone. |

Consider 360’s and mills using a steel mace. Start with a 7 lb mace. |
Migrelief sells magnesium and riboflavin together, but I can’t find it anywhere near me so I just tried to match the dose as well as I could while avoiding any digestive issues (and oh how excess magnesium can cause digestive issues…). 250 mg of mag citrate seems to work and I alternate between 100 mg and 200 mg of riboflavin every day. I’m not in the area but these are the machines I’m talking about http://medxonline.net/products/medx-medical-equipment/ Some PT clinics will let you self-refer (and also depending on state laws). PTs are hella helpful! |
