Why do people who vape feel entitled to do it in non-smoking areas? So sick of seeing people walking around vaping and pretending like they are doing nothing wrong, even though they are trying to hide it in their palm. It’s disgusting and the rest of us don’t want to be around that crap. Why can’t people get it through your heads? It’s just as dangerous as cigarettes, and it’s freaking rude to do it in non-smoking areas!

Youth ball fields, amusement parks, to name a few I’ve seen this week. My rising college freshman (who doesn’t vape) has told me that she expects kids will do it in the dorms.

You made my point— the people who do it know they can get away with it because it doesn’t obviously smell like cigarettes. So they think it’s a dumb rule, and they shouldn’t have to follow it I guess.

I said nothing of the sort. I said that it's banned everywhere that cigarette smoking is banned.

I understand why you'd get upset about kids vaping in the dorm and you need to address that directly with the administration. But smoking and vaping outside is just not something I get excited about. Just move away.

I find it a silly sight but calling it disgusting while we're surrounded by cars belching out emissions all the time is a bit silly. There's worse things people could be doing.

Not the PP you're responding to, but yes. OP demonstrated it. She gets all exited about someone vaping in an open field. It's just not a big issue.
