For decades I've lied about my DL weight, using an aspirational number. Well, 6 months of Wegovy, I'm down 30 pounds and actually weigh that number. A number I haven't seen on the scale in I can't remember how long! Hoping to drop another 10 and can then stay there |
Congratulations! |
Cool story bro |
What is DL weight? |
Drivers license I suspect
Great job OP! I hope you enjoy it in good health! |
Sorry, you weren’t fooling anyone with your 30# lies. |
Good luck staying there. |
Wow! My DL is 7lbs less than reality. I could never claim 30lbs less with a straight face. Hell, the agent rolled their eyes when I said my weight hadn't changed. |
I think there a lot of hangry beeches on this forum today. Like every thread in D and E is filled with nastiness and snark. . damn. Eat some, peeps.
Congrats OP! |
Congrats, OP! You should be really proud. |
I would love this to happen, but without the lifelong commitment to Wegovy (sigh). |
DP: it doesn't have to be a "lifelong commitment", for many if they learn how to eat while on the meds they should be able to keep the weight off after one round of the meds. |
Good for you OP! Outside of the number on the scale changing are you noticing any other health related benefits, are you less winded? do you have more energy? are you sleeping better? Those alone would make the meds worth it. |
But they rarely if ever fundamentally change their habits without the meds forcing them to, right? That’s precisely the problem. |
How did you get a wegovy prescription? |
