They never intended to “build their dream home” there – this was always about the flip. Good luck with that. |
Good for them making $7m. |
They didn't improve the land at all except for the demolition. If they could sell for $10M, a developer would've bid higher when they first bought the parcel. It can probably hold much fewer MMH units than the description says - the lot is hilly, there needs to be access roads/frontage to be considered, including running utilities, etc. I'm sure developers came to the same conclusion when this lot was first up for sale |
I wouldn't want to stick around there with the crazy neighbors. |
You’re not even a little bit skeptical of the story? |
Yes, they increased the value of the property 3x by knocking down some trees. Seems like they will be lucky to get their money back. I’m guessing they underestimated how tough it would be to redevelop. Oh well so sad |
I just watched "the Family" on Netflix- this is that house right? |
Arlington neighbors gave these people a hard time about possibly putting in multifamily units. Arlington voted for this kind of development, what did they expect? The hypocrisy is amazing. Even if the couple always planned to raze the house and flip it, so what. That's legal. So is building multiple units there.
Boo hoo. Elections have consequences. When will people finally wake up. |
Not at all. |
What's your point? The people who voted for MM are fine with it. Two thumbs up for tearing down the old racist's house. |
I guarantee you that the majority of people in Donaldson Run did not vote in favor of MMH judging by the activity on the their list serv and all the lawn signs. |
I’m a POC in the neighborhood and I knew it was BS when the middle eastern husband said he was confused for a lawn worker. People in this neighborhood are racist but they’re a very specific type of racist. |
Nope. |
