This has all the markings of a troll. Starts out with one story and then drops a bomb about husband being an alcoholic partway through.

I am unable to say either way. I can say that the poster doesn't appear to be sock puppeting and does not have a posting history to suggest the she is a troll. My advice in such cases is to simply avoid the thread if you believe the poster is a troll.
