My dog died this week

Just feeling sad and lonely, despite my husband and kids at home. Everyone has been lovely, sending flowers and picture frames, and food.

Just have a few regrets how it ended (emergency euthanasia) and the overwhelmed by the finality of it all.

Your dog is the goodest boy and knows he was loved. You did the best you could with the information you had. Now he is over the rainbow bridge and waiting for you. And he has tons of friends! My sweet Molly is there too.

I'm so sorry your good boi had to cross the rainbow bridge. It's so hard. I like to picture myself as greeted in heaven by all of my pets, and that helps with the sadness when one passes -- the thought of being together again.

I’m so sorry! It will take a while for this level of sadness to go down to something more manageable, but it will. If you need feel free to ask to speak with your vet about what happened, if clarity will bring you peace.

When my husky passed in July of some years ago my nephew who was 21 passed 4 months later in a car accident. I prayed that they found each other. I think they did. There is a rainbow bridge BTW. My uncle was dead for a minute and said he saw his dogs waiting.

I lost my baby last month. Single with no husband or kids he was my baby. I still talk to him and miss him. He would hug and cuddle up next to me and when I cried he would always come over to show he cares.
