| Jamaica. Flights and accommodations are cheaper this time of year, and the local guys are super hot and ladies of a certain age treat them generously and in return they show you love. Really. It’s not exploitative at all. |

| Any thought on Greece? |
| Budget? |
It will be very hot and crowded, with most accommodation fully booked, but Greece is great. Where would you go? |
| Iceland |
| Montreal |
Came here to suggest this. |
This is the biggest determination. You're trying to travel during peak summer airfares to presumably peak places And how much time do you have? Personally I'd go on a cruise. It's all-inclusive, lots of great places to see and visit, abd lots of interesting people to chat with. |
| What are your dates? My favorite thing is to go to google flights, punch in my dates and do a search by map for flights out of all the DC airports. You can put in limits on the search, i.e. direct/10 hours or fewer, $600 or less, and see what comes up. (Of course, you will have to cross check to make sure accommodations are available, but it can lead to interesting travel!) |
