Jamaica. Flights and accommodations are cheaper this time of year, and the local guys are super hot and ladies of a certain age treat them generously and in return they show you love. Really. It’s not exploitative at all.

It will be very hot and crowded, with most accommodation fully booked, but Greece is great. Where would you go?

This is the biggest determination. You're trying to travel during peak summer airfares to presumably peak places

And how much time do you have?

Personally I'd go on a cruise. It's all-inclusive, lots of great places to see and visit, abd lots of interesting people to chat with.

What are your dates? My favorite thing is to go to google flights, punch in my dates and do a search by map for flights out of all the DC airports. You can put in limits on the search, i.e. direct/10 hours or fewer, $600 or less, and see what comes up. (Of course, you will have to cross check to make sure accommodations are available, but it can lead to interesting travel!)

I'd find a spot in a retreat (painting, dance, yoga) or group your (cycling, sailing).
