"The Maryland law allowing the purchase of marijuana for recreational use goes into effect on July 1, and Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich talked about what that means for the county.

“We anticipate there are going to be circumstances when marijuana use could lead to some complaints about neighbors or people smoking in public,” Elrich said. While the odor may be annoying to some, Elrich added, “We don’t want residents calling 911.”

Hmm. I don't think interested people waited for July 1st, judging by my neighbors and the high schoolers at our local high school in Bethesda.

He's talking to all you old biddies here at DCUM constantly bltching and whining about the smell of cannabis.

"Elrich said renters who have complaints about the odor of marijuana in their buildings or properties should contact their landlords. Homeowners may contact the Department of Housing and Community Affairs. "

He want to make sure the "biddies" complaints are routed to the authorities with enforcement tools.

The problem with his suggestion is that the landlord or leasing office can’t/won’t do anything so then they call the Police. And they can’t do anything either but they still call…. Incessantly.

Which should tell you something about marijuana rules... mainly, not to let the public at large smoke unless they have good reason to.

Edibles are a thing.

I’m mostly worried about people driving under the influence. I smell skunk weed regularly on the road as it is.

This is going to be horrible!

See this how we know your true intentions. You don’t have any reason to complain or sue anyone yet here you are setting up the contours of your future lawsuit. People like you just want to use the court system to harass cannabis users.
