I’m only 45 but DH is in his 50s—we have just under a million together in our 401ks. We made under 200k together until very recently.

45 has $1.2M in a ROTH IRA

47 has $450K in a ROTH, $435 in a 403B, $25k in a 457b and a pension currently equal to $31k per year

Plus non retirement assets and investments.

And half of our $1.3M home is paid off.

Plus one of us has a pension that will pay $120k/year.

OP, can you clarify? Is this just money in retirement accounts? RE and home are being listed and I am guessing it is not in an IRA or maybe it is. Just retirement tax advantaged accounts or all money that we will use in retirement?

$30 million. Sometimes I'm concerned that it won't be enough.

54 single $1.5, 500K equity in $800K home paid off in 8 years

$75K emergency fund … I know too much, need to put it somewhere

I generally made $80K-$150K for govt. from 25-50.

I have a pension

LOL at the trolls.

Me (52) -- $1.5m in 401(k), $100k in Roth
DW: (49) -- $800k in 401(k)

Plus $500k in other investments (not 529) and $800k in home equity.

Both 50.
We have a combined 1 million in 401ks, and a paid-off $700k home. We have to put one kid through college. We are both immigrants so we started late. We will have 2 Fed pensions in retirement.
