I thought it would inspire me to follow some PTs and some trainers on Instagram. But instead, it's like they've demotivated me. Anyone else have this happen? |
Why are you demotivated? |
If something you've seen on social media has demotivated you, then it's your responsibility and solely yours to get off of social media. Don't blame them, blame yourself. |
OP here. I think it is that I've started to spend more time researching workouts than doing them, and by researching + reading and watching videos part of me feels so accomplished that I don't do as much actual working out. Sounds stupid to write it, but realizing it is pretty much it. |
Umm can’t you just unfollow them then? |
Unfollow them.
Don’t follow beach body coaches (or I guess now BODi coaches 🙄). I can’t stop watching them and the lies they perpetuate in order to make a buck. Unsure how they can sleep at night. But I sure wished they kept that tv show about MLM with Kirsten Dunst. |
I don't understand. For me watching fitness influencers and body building athletes on IG has helped me tremendously. I've been able to incorporate a lot of exercises into my own routine. Its also helped me learn how to eat better and meal prep ideas. And that's how I've been able to build muscle (I have a booty now!) and change my body without paying a trainer or nutritionist. |
Two different people have two different reactions? Inconceivable! Next you’ll tell me that only one of you likes olives! All humans the same! |

You sound jealous. |
