I think, as a whole, it’s plain wrong for there to be any notion of Christian celebrity. It’s laughable to me that because someone took it upon themselves to write books and had the sheer luck to get published that suddenly they are in a sphere the everyday person cannot aspire to. This worshipful behavior of normal people, especially in a church culture or whatever, is one of the reasons I just had to get out of the church. No one is better than me in God’s eyes and I hate that leaders of the church (in some settings) feel they are. Lol I’m not saying it’s exactly Righteous Gemstones level, but not far from? I get this vibe from a lot of folks out on social media that are known for being part of the church. Carlos Whitaker is another influence like church person that I think of. I finally had to unfollow him because I was SO annoyed by every post. |

Big Sis Jen got her start as a Bible teacher. Look at her first couple of books. She wanted to use her celebrity “to make Jesus famous”.
Nowadays? I don’t even think she’s going to church anymore as she’s more about self-help and “getting hers” and making money from “her tribe” by shelling fast fashion and overpriced body lotions. |
The most grating thing about Jen is that she preached in the book Seven about minimizing excess and removing clutter but now she’s about constantly shilling all sorts of crap everyday to her people. How many onesies of sassy travel sneaks and overpriced handbags does one need? The cognitive dissonance is mind blowing. |
Christian Celebrity is an oxymoron.
The majority of “Christian celebrities” seem to eventually end up neither. If others think you’re beautiful, you can monetize it. If they think you’re smart, you can monetize it. If they think you’re Christian… |
SAAAAME!!! Carlos is the worst-so thirsty and has tried to be famous for almost 2 decades. He finally got a bit of an Insta following, and is loving it. 🙄 |
Didn't Sharon Says So do some big fundraiser for him? I think I know that name from when I followed her. Now it seems like he is sort of famous... |
Yes! |
Jen’s been weirdly quiet on the socials for five plus days. That’s pretty unusual for her. |
I noticed man who is worthy of her has not mentioned her on his SM. Jen did long warrior post about Texas proposition and trans kids, and then cross linked worthy man’s post regarding the same with a Go Worthy Man ❤️ comment. Worthy Man did not reciprocate by mentioning or cross linking her post and his site seems to be completely detached from her. Which is fine but possibly not the adoration or validation Jen is expecting. |
The whole music is back romance is all sorts of strange.
Tyler posted on this thread, by the way. His writing style is DOT DOT DOT a clear “tell”. |
Noticed this again today with his pro-female post about the SOTU. Honestly surprised he hasn’t mentioned her at all. |
Maybe this is a dumb question, but what’s the “tell”? |
Is he still listed as single on his social media? |
Big Sis Jen’s Pizza Night Post with an accompanying selfie. So thirsty. Is she single again? |
