It’s something that I’ve always wanted given that I am a huge fan of having a clean anus, but I have never tried one. We are getting ready to do a large master bathroom remodel in our house and have the space. What say you all — are bidets worth it? Or not?
Thanks in advance |
| If you want one, get one. |
| We recently visited Japan where all of the hotel bathrooms use Toto washlets. We had never used a washlet/bidet before. After we got home, the first thing we did was put Toto wallets in all of our bathrooms. Absolutely life changing! Definitely worth it. |

Totally worth it, and easy to do during a renovation.
When I travel, it's barbaric that I have to use TP. My rear isn't used to such treachery! |
| Worth it? Yes! |
| Yes, especially if you hope to age in place or take care of an aging parent. |
| Yea |
| I just got a simple add on one to try out for like $40. So far, I like it. I'm not sure it's life-changing, but it's nice. |
| A bidet attachment? Yes if you like it's UTI's. |
Our add on tushy bidet is convenient- stream of cold water is startling sometimes bit can make it easier to wipe. Our Toto washlet with seat heater, warm water spray, multiple oscillation options, and blow dryer is life changing. Absolutely worth it as part of a renovation! |
| I wouldn’t live without it. Life-changing. |
Once your anus is 100% clean you can’t go back to 70-80%? |
| It is life changing. So much cleaner |
+1. Go for a nicer one, it’s money well spent (and we’re DCUM poors). Once you have one, you’ll never go back. |
| Best decision we ever made. |
