Note to Gray supporters: one person per post. I know it may be hard, but try to play by the rules. Short of requesting verification from Jeff, you're on your honor. |
All fine and dandy, as long as Fenty supports agree to leave the sanctimony at home. Don't be bitter because your boy is gonna lose. It happens.
Gray all the way. With the AFL/CIO backing, it's in the bag. |
Gray.
[PS I was going to post just that one word, but I'll make the intended message explicit: We should say no more so that we are not tempted to get into back-and-forths. We have the other Fenty/Gray thread for that.] |
Fenty. |
Good point, but when the OP makes the obnoxious comment he does, he sort of opens the flood gates for more than a yes or no. |
Ah, yes. Someone started a political discussion. So that person must sport a penis and a set of balls. Of course! |
My apologies. I'm a guy so I generally resort to using "he" if I'm too lazy to repeatedly do the "he/she" thing. |
Gray all the way! |

2 votes for Gray [ yes we do exist ! and no we haven't drunk the bull pen kool-aid ] |
Fenty-- we're urbanists who want high dollar development to make this a bigger/better/faster-paced city, walkability/ urban-appropriate transit priorities, and yes... gentrification. I think Gray is serious and sensible, but we're not his constituents and he won't be serving us or our priorities. We're middle income people who can't afford to bypass DCPS and live centrally (NW slightly east of the park), so we're not about to retreat into isolated low-density car-dominated enclaves without a reduction in quality of life if commerce and recreation advances in central areas stall under Gray. |
I am actually torn. Seriously torn. I am torn, mostly, about whether or not to keep Rhee, which means I am torn about whether or not to vote for Fenty. I really don't know....
I personally do not think Fenty is a rock star, but I lived in this city on the mid-nineties and I am truly enjoying its current reputation and DO NOT want it to slide. What to do.... |
Fenty. All Gray talks about is Ward 7 & 8 and he's not talking to me. |
Gray. Am concerned that he will be too beholden to the unions but think Fenty is ethically challenged and has outright crooks for friends. |
