Wegovy - Any pharmacies that have .5?

Has anyone been able to get .5 Wegovy in the last few days? If so where?

I called 10+ places between DC and Baltimore today and none of them had it in stock.

I think it varies day to day. I'm dropping back down b/c the next level is too much for me and am worried about supply. I wish I could trade in 1 pens.

Has anyone had any luck? I am already overdue and am afraid I'll have to back down to 0.25 if this goes on too long. I'm looking for 0.5 because 1.0 was too much for me.

It's frustrating when you've been taking it for months and can't get it. I wish they had told docs to slow down adding new patients because plenty of existing are having success at the lower levels. Now, those aren't available.

I don't know. It doesn't matter for those on lower doses, though, b/c you can't take just a half. The pen is not adjustable. I asked.

Not what the OP asked, but fyi... I was on .5mg and couldn't get the 1.0. The pharmacist suggested that I ask my doctor for the 1.7... a huge step... and I got it. I felt horrible for a week. Nauseous, fatigued, just off. On week 2 of 1.7, things are calming down & I'm glad that I didn't have to go off Wegovy. Luck to all.

I was supposed to take mine last Friday and have been told no shipments until July. I’m not sure what to do. I still have a too high dose left and am considering taking it and not waiting for the second click. Maybe if I spread it out to 10/11 days, I won’t end up having to start back at square one.

I called my local G'burg CVS and they didn't have it (nor any location within 20 miles). poo!

Then I called a CVS in Westminster, MD, and asked them to do a 20-mile radius search. They found a Target in Ellicott City (the pharmacy is run by CVS) and they had two packages of 0.5 I called them and got one of the two packages they had This was at 5:30p on 6/19. Sooo the other might be gone by now, but it's worth a check.

CVS's can do a 20-mile radius search of other CVS's.

Is this a Maryland problem perhaps? I've never had any problem filling my Wegovy prescription of any dosage at the Wegmans pharmacy in Fairfax. (I posted this on other similar thread).

What are you supposed to tell someone with an A1C of 12 and fasting glucose of 250? Wait on this life-saving medication?
