I live in a condo and work from home.
In the past few weeks, I can hear a dog howling for hours a day. I'm not sure which unit it's coming from though. I'm hoping the dog is not suffering or in any pain and is probably just lonely for it's owner's. Is there anything I can about the noise? I've tried earplugs but they haven't helped. |
| That's so annoying, sorry. |
Thank you. |
| I'd walk around and figure out which unit it's coming from and leave an anonymous note for the owner. Wait a few weeks and if it continues, next call is to animal control. |
| You need to figure out which unit it is first. Then maybe start with a note on the door. |
I'm OP and thank you. I'll do that. |
OP here, you're right. I think the owners probably have no idea. Thank you |
| I was about to suggest this, my previous neighbor's dog would cry all day and they had no idea until I told them. |
| Sometimes there is not much the owner can do. Our dog fusses the entire time we are out. We have a camera and they are fine in their crate just mad. |

I had a dog who did this, and I had no clue until a neighbor told me. They were very kind about it. I immediately took steps to help my dog and always well at the end. I really didn’t know.

| A dog shouldn't be alone the whole day. |

Report to Board for violation of rules.

That’s not an acceptable response from you, as both an owner and a neighbor. Miserable dog, miserable neighbors. |
