I need to get from JFK to Greenwich and back, what's the best way to do this?

I have a wedding in Greenwich on a Saturday. Flying in Saturday morning and out on Sunday. What's the best way to do this? Car service?

Yes to a car service.

Connecticut limo has been around for years.

CT limo for sure. It’s the way we always traveled to and from the airports when we lived there.

Best way would be a helicopter

Consider flying to Westchester?

It's easier to do this on public transit now because of the new LIRR line to Grand Central, if you have a bit more time and want to save some money.

JFK Airtrain to Jamaica
LIRR to Grand Central
Metro North to Greenwich

Annoyingly you have to buy a MetroCard for the ridiculous $8.25 JFK Airtrain fare. The LIRR and Metro North tickets can be bought using their apps if you want to save time and skip the ticket machines. On weekends the LIRR City Ticket is only $5 for Jamaica into Manhattan, and Metro North to Greenwich will be around $10.

Are there a lot of stairs on this route such that doing it with heavy luggage would be difficult?

Terrible advice for someone flying into JFK for a wedding in CT and leaving the next day.

NP I disagree, I think its great advice. She said *if* she wants to save money and has time. And the way traffic can be in NY often times public transit is actually faster.

As long as the luggage is on wheels you are fine. There is some up/down but it's all escalators/elevators.
