Two Rivers QSRs are up

Those are pretty great scores... for the elementary grades. The middle school? Yikes.

It's really helpful to have the data breakdown. It seems like things actually are pretty okay in elementary, which is nice to know.

I'm surprised that people think sub-3 for instruction is pretty OK? Are these usually very harshly graded? Almost no distinguished ratings at all & majority basic in one category? Agree that class enviornment/behavior management seems decent. But then looks at the assignments... Every single assignment except one K assignment was rated minimal?! That seems pretty... bad. I guess I don't know that much about how these are normally graded and I agree that 2R4 doesn't look like a trainwreck, but it looks... adequate at best?

Those Middle School scores are not good. Sadly, they seem to match our own experience.

Is it true the principals just quit? I read that on another thread.

What aspect of TR has permanent leadership in place? It seems like there is a complete lack of leadership and permanent teachers--but maybe that's just at TRY and MS.

Is the MS expected to have full enrollment next year or are many students leaving?

There's nobody on the waitlist for 6th and 7th, if that tells you anything. I don't really understand how the Equitable Access waitlists fit with the Short Waitlists viewing tool, though.

Perhaps harshly graded? The DCI report is also up.

A more accurate summary of the school has never been written.

I don't disagree with you, but if you are trying to lottery into a charter like TR, "adequate at best" may actually be an improvement. It really just depends on your point of comparison. There are many better schools than TR in the city, but there are also many worse schools, and it all depends on which kids of school you have access to. On the East side, TR is an upgrade over many other schools.

TRY IS a train wreck. Many of the upper ES classes did not have a permanent full time teacher this year.

All three campuses will have new principals next year. All internal, but man, that's a rough go of it.

Wow. DCI doesn't look too impressive.

DCI:

Classroom environment: 81
Instruction: 66

Compare Latin US:

Classroom environment: 92
Instruction: 83

And a new ED. As a former TR parent, I hope the school can course correct. But it seems like that will take an honest assessment from current leaders about how and why the school spiraled…
