When will air get better

I have plans to visit family in the Northeast Thursday night until Sunday morning this week. I will be bringing my kids but am wondering if I should cancel our plans due to the wildfires. Is the air quality supposed to improve enough by Friday to make being outdoors safe?

Yep I looked but didn’t see anything about when it will be healthy a enough to be outside in the NE

https://www.airnow.gov/ has current and projected AQI but rain/wind/etc. can change projected
