When I lived in nyc, one of my coworkers had a similar list. In fact, she had a spreadsheet and assigned points to various attributes. Any guy she was going to marry had to have a certain minimum number of aggregated points. She was super prissy, high maintenance, very Basic in taste and a mid in attractiveness. Was constantly complaining about her dates not living up to her expectations.

12+ years later she moved to the west coast as a single cat lady and ended up marry a short, chubby, bald dude about 15 years her elder. I think he came from family money, as he was a bit of an artist dilettante and didn’t seem to have steady work.

This Twitter person will soon be slapped by reality.

What’s the big deal? It’s a dream bf as in her perfect partner if she could create him. I don’t think it’s intended to be a list of exact standards she demands

I could describe my dream vacation but I’m very well aware it’s not a realistic plan Im making… It’s just my ideal vacation if I had unlimited money and unlimited free time etc

For every person it doesn't work out for there are plenty of others who refuse to settle and it does work out for them. Dare to dream and have minimum standards.

Do people not understand the concept of “dream [thing]”? The whole point it that’s an over the top ideal. Your dream house isn’t what you actually expect to buy in most cases it’s what you see as the perfect “dream” house.
