Seeing a lot of reports on this as a natural supplement for weight loss. Has anyone actually taken berberine and had any success with this? |
No. I’ve taken it in the past and it did nothing. compounded semiglutide, however, has been a miracle for me |
I have taken it, you have to take it for several months (like 3 or more) for it to start having any benefit/effect.
The benefits are that it helps lower blood sugar, improving insulin resistance and heart health. |
did you lose weight? |
It’s the supplement version of metformin. Not particularly effective for weight loss but helpful for glucose regulation. |
It’s hard to say, I was following a lower carb diet, and I do time restricted eating- 14 hr digestive rest over night, breakfast at 10, lunch at 2 and dinner at 6 ish, so, yes, I lost weight, but not sure how much can be attributed to which actions or if it was a culmination of all. Regulating blood sugar/ insulin resistance helped with cravings for junk foods. But I don’t think barbering is a magic pill. |
I tried it some time ago and absolutely hated the taste. And there was no way to kill the taste by mixing it with anything else. |
