Berberine

Seeing a lot of reports on this as a natural supplement for weight loss. Has anyone actually taken berberine and had any success with this?

No. I’ve taken it in the past and it did nothing. compounded semiglutide, however, has been a miracle for me

I have taken it, you have to take it for several months (like 3 or more) for it to start having any benefit/effect.
The benefits are that it helps lower blood sugar, improving insulin resistance and heart health.

did you lose weight?

It’s the supplement version of metformin. Not particularly effective for weight loss but helpful for glucose regulation.

It’s hard to say, I was following a lower carb diet, and I do time restricted eating- 14 hr digestive rest over night, breakfast at 10, lunch at 2 and dinner at 6 ish, so, yes, I lost weight, but not sure how much can be attributed to which actions or if it was a culmination of all. Regulating blood sugar/ insulin resistance helped with cravings for junk foods. But I don’t think barbering is a magic pill.

I tried it some time ago and absolutely hated the taste. And there was no way to kill the taste by mixing it with anything else.
