Does your teen still hug and kiss you?

| My 14yo DS doesn’t want to. I may get a pity hug and kiss occasionally but he doesn’t want to hug or kiss me. |

| I never kiss my kids. They will hug if I want but I also don't do that much. |

My young adult son became this way as well, at around that age, except the day I had a blow-out argument with his father, and left to go to a hotel for the night (after DS had gone to bed). When I came back the next day, he rushed to me and gave me a huge hug.
My teen DD is very huggy, thank goodness. |

| DDs, yes. DS May give a hug, I kiss him on the head when he is sitting down and he doesn’t fuss ( he is literally 1’ taller than I am). |

| 14 year old DS hugs me and each of the cats each night before bed when I stay up with him until bedtime. (10:30). The cats seem both bemused and excited by this ritual. Will have to ask DH what happens on the nights the two of them stay up late watching basketball. |

Still hugs me unprompted, I also give him lots of hugs when I see him, he walks into the room etc. I kiss him on the head or the cheek. |

| 18 yo son gives me and his mom a hug pretty regularly, never a kiss though. |

16 year old son hugs me all the time. Rarely kisses but we aren't a big kissing family.
I am surprised. I did NOT want to hug my parents, at all, beyond age 13. |

| 15 and 18 yo sons hug me all the time and say I love you. I kiss them in the cheek but not the other way around. I also have an adult daughter who gives crazy good hugs. |
