I like to plan 6 months in advance meaning theme, ideas, pintersr boards, etc…Husband thinks im nuts! But i think it’s necessary with 4 kids. His head seems to always be spinning but Im the one moving the parts. Basically he thinks I’m always on birthday mode. I just need him to cut the check and shut up!

With 4 kids, depending on their spread for birthdays (our is only 6 weeks) I could see myself planning virtually year round. Just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Listening to what they like, etc. I don't think it's a crime to want your kids to looks back on their birthdays as special (not necessarily expensive) because someone took the time to really plan for them as an individual. |

| If you have the bandwidth for pinterest board and themed parties with four kids, then hats off to you! You do you and have fun with it! |
| I cannot imagine having 4 kids. More than kids is irresponsible, unless your second pregnancy resulted in twins. |
| A month at most. You should get a job. |
| Invites go out a month before - phone, paper, email. Basically, after solidifying that my core group of guests are available and have agreed to attend on that date. |
| I used to do that. Now I can plan it in 2 weeks flat! |
| We plan beginning four months ahead because you sometimes have to reserve the date three months ahead. No Pinterest board though. |
| Nine to six months usually. At the latest, three months ahead. |
It did. I planned for 3 |
Why work of you dont have to? |

I assume all parties are at home then. No venue parties I assume but that is still cutting it close. |
| At this point I book a venue 2-3 months out, get a cake the day before and that’s it. |
