| An English teacher was violently hit by a child today. When will suspensions be allowed again?!? |
| What grade. Our Deal kid hadn't heard anything. |
| 7th |
| They can suspend a child for this. They choose not to. Nothing in the law prohibits it. |
| Wow. That is horrible. This is untenable. I can’t imagine being hit or cursed at when I’m at work. |
Being cursed at by kids at deal is a weekly thing now sadly. |
The teacher can file assault charges. That is what I would do..damn DCPS. |
|
| If this is true the child needs to be removed from school. Deal teachers are by and large wonderful people who are there to educate, not serve as a security force. if we continue to allow students to treat them this way, we have no reason to believe they will stay. Anyone know the context for this? |
| The teacher should file assault charges |
| Kick the little $hit out. Totally unacceptable. DCPS is an effing mess. |
|
I know for a fact another kid with a well known issue of violence has hit teachers and he's still there. It's unbelievable. We must rally around him and make sure the snowflake is well cared for! He needs a hug! He's misunderstood.
Good luck Deal. Can't wait to see how not-well this works out for you. |
Parents and students must protest if raging, violent kids are allowed to terrorize the school community. |
| Wow. On our 7th grader’s team, a student stole money out of their history teacher’s bag. Teacher requested the kid be moved to another team but the kid is still there. This was right before spring break. |
There were two girls fighting. The boy that hit the teacher was angry that the teacher would break up the girl fight. |
