| Anyone? Looking at homes there. |
| It is very large. The population is very diverse, drawing from upper middle places like Darnestown and poor areas of Germantown. It is also covers a wide geographic area--you could live down the street from QOHS and have to travel to NWHS. Is there something particular about the homes in that cluster that you like as opposed to other nearby clusters such as QO? |
| NWHS, along with QO, Wootton, Gaithersburg, and RM will have their boundaries redrawn in a few years with the opening of Crown HS. |
| Be more specific. What questions or concerns do you have, OP, so we can help you with whatever you're looking for. |
| I don't think NWHS will be affected as much because they were already part of the SV/Clarksburg boundaries. |
The part of Northwest zoned for Diamond ES is pretty close to Crown, so that seems likely to be affected. Also, Northwest is projected to be 419 over capacity by the time Crown opens, so they will need to rezone some kids. |

No matter the HS look for the specific signature programs.
I find the 2 years of community college program amazing as well Ulysses. I think there is an engineering program and Cisco cert program. |
| NW is way better than QO, except some sports |
QO hasn't had as many kids .urdered by fellow classmates so there's that. |
That didn't happen in school, I don't think. But, recently a QO student had to have narcan administered during lunch. Kid could've easily died. |
That didn't happen in school either |
so, two terrible things happened to HS students outside of HS grounds. |
But one happened because of the type of people he met at his school. This isn't rocket science. |
| My daughter attends NWHS and is enrolled in the Ulysses program, which she thoroughly enjoys. The teachers demonstrate genuine care, and the students are friendly. She particularly enjoys participating in the drama program, finding it to be a fun experience. |
What is the UMD admission rate at NW vs QO |
