The time for nerd prom has arrived once again. Next week DC will be abuzz with celebs coming to town for the annual dinner.
Roy Woods from The Daily Show, is this year’s host. Julia Fox is rumored to be coming to the dinner. Who else should we anticipate to see? Also, which parties are happening? I’ve gotten a few invites but I’ve heard of a few that I’ve never heard of before, such as HQ, that sound fun. |
| Roy Woods? seems like it's slipping into irrelevance |
Roy Wood Jr. Is a Daily Show correspondent. Plenty of them have hosted before. |
| Who else is coming? Last year Kim K. was there. |
| Whole thing feels lame... |
| One of the only good things Trump did is diminish the importance of this stupid event. |
| I went one time. It was great for people watching. |
| KJP is such an easy target, I feel bad for the performer, he is going to have to side step how bad she is at her job. |
Trump is the worst ever but he did well in confining interest to this stupid event. |
+1 Anyone who uses the term nerd prom should be shunned. |
The daily show is dead. Their primary demographic have all cut the cord |

I watched the red carpet arrivals two years in a row. Not sure how it is now, but anyone could go see celebrities arrive. The first year, stumbled upon it by accident as we were eating dinner nearby and saw all the commotion when we went outside afterwards. That year, celebrities weren't able to drive right up to the hotel so had to walk across the parking lot. Probably 10+ years ago. Jonas brothers, Mcsteamy from ER, Pamela Anderson, Padma Lakshimi.
My friends had so much fun, they came back the following year and we went and stood at the red carpet and saw a bunch of people. Alicia Keys, Wanda Sykes walked right by us, etc. |

Okay, but what are supposed to be the good parties this year?
Creative Coalition? United Talent Agency? Vanity Fair no longer holds their party. |
You think she’s going to get roasted by him? Or that Biden will take the hit? |
