Stay focused, people! Langdon! Aaah. I hope he’s clean on that drug test. He mentioned his back hurting, which is how he got addicted in the first place. He looked high AF coming out of the bathroom. But then… he didn’t seem scared or like uh-oh when reminded of his drug test, just in a hurry, so maybe they’re setting us up and he’ll be okay.
I am done with Robby/Rabi. Also the blond head nurse. Too one note/angry/troubled. |

Ok I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere so maybe this is nothing.
Langdon comes out of the bathroom and immediately goes into the trauma with the guy with the spinal injury. Then they need an attending and no one else is available so they send someone to go get Robby, who is... in the bathroom (they knock on the door and then he's zipping up). I'm pretty sure it's the same bathroom because it's close to the trauma room where the spinal guy was. Were Robby and Langdon in the bathroom at the same time? I feel like this is one of the reasons Langdon comes out of the bathroom looking kind of weird, not because he was doing drugs in there. This is not the first time I've noticed weird stuff with the bathrooms. Earlier in the season when we were still wondering what was going on with Dr. Al-Hashidi, there was a scene were she comes out of the bathroom looking upset/troubled. This was a different time than when we see her go in the bathroom to call her neurologist. |
Why do you care? I used to write Rabi as well. The nickname is based on his last name, Rabinovitch. Last year much of the show affiliated media used that spelling. The tide of Robby took over and most people use that now but it’s not a big deal. We all knew who PP was talking about. As for the actual content, I think there is some deliberate ambiguity. Is Langdon relapsing? We can’t tell. Some things are potentially hints but it could be just the stress. He looks like a scared animal much of the time. |
While I hear you, I really do think in jobs like that the bathroom is where you hide / cry / reset. I went to MIT and you cried in empty stairwells or bathrooms. |
Omg so true! lol. |
Find something bigger to worry about. |

+1 It's like Noah Wylie has had one expression on his face the entire season... |
Lawyer here. Have totally cried some tears of frustration/rage in the bathroom while at trial. |

| Does anyone want to see Santos and Langdon forge a friendship? |
No. They are both my least fave characters. Its not all about them. |
I take that back. Maybe he can do some of her charts and shut her up. |
PP who brought up the bathroom thing here. I agree it makes total sense for people to be using the bathroom to hide or cry -- there is truly nowhere else to go where you won't run into either patients or colleagues. I also used to cry in the bathroom at work when I was in a really stressful job. But the fact that the show is *choosing* to show it feels significant to me. And specifically that they would show Langdon and Robby emerging from what appears to be the same bathroom near in time, and Langdon looking strange. I just thought of it because people have been talking about whether Langdon did drugs in the bathroom before that scene. I think potentially the weird look on his face wasn't because he was high but because he'd interacted with Robby in the bathroom. He was weirdly energized in a way he hadn't been previously, and then that was the case where Robby told him to "doctor the f*** up" and later told him good job. I don't know. Maybe we'll never know. It was odd. |
She needs to go to Al-Anon first. |
