She’ll marry Travis. She isn’t in love him. The two things are not mutually exclusive. Whether they stat together long term would depend on whether she falls for another tortured poet along the way, and if they’ll be fine with going public this time or just keep it a secret while she remains “married.” Regular people get married and stay married out of convenience all the time, and I’m guessing celebrities do the same.

Taboo love. PR and career risk if the public finds out. Or too proud to admit actual feelings and get together for real. Trying to outrun it with replacement partners. Often ends up in an incompatible marriage. Tale as old as time.

She doesn’t even need to get divorced. They can keep the marriage sham and do whatever they want behind the scenes, the way she was in a “long term relationship” with Joe Alwyn but was really secretly hooking up with Matty Healy and writing about him under the guise of “fiction.” The TK marriage would be very convenient in more ways than one: for her wholesome married girl image, for having kids, for her dad’s obsession with fame and football etc.

I didn’t miss the point. I disagree with your point. They are quasi celebrities for whom celebrity status doesn’t matter to their marriage. They are extreme celebrities known to most US citizens. Those pressures will absolutely make their marriage harder.
