Exercise injury

Anonymous
I’m not sure what type of injury or I have or how to treat it. Looking for advice.

It happened after my exercise class earlier this week. It’s my upper front thigh extending from my inner thigh to outer thigh but not very inner or very outer. It is very stiff and moderately painful when I move it after rest. I limp for a few minutes once I start moving.

Zero pain at rest and zero or close to zero once I get it moving. Makes no difference if the movement is waking, jogging, running, stair climbing or stretching. Nothing other than what I listed makes it better or worse.

What did I do and how do I fix it?

Maybe a quad strain. I have this right now, and it’s as you describe - zero pain at rest or when warmed up.
