Where can one watch this(?)- doesn't appear to be available anywhere. I get that it's an 80's show, but it's nowhere to be found. I know some people that would love it even though it is as old as it is. |
| There is more than one show like this--it's usually because of issues with music rights. |
| The show "thirtysomething" is available on DVD. Is this an option for you, OP? |
| There are some episodes on youtube. I loved this show. |
| I also loved Thirtysomething. I was in my teens when I watched it though! |
| I thought I read somewhere a revival was coming. |
I think it was proposed in 2020, but the network passed on it. |
China Beach is the other show I know of that cannot be streamed due to music rights. OP I loved Thirty Something. Mel Harris is my doppelgänger! |
I would love to rewatch China Beach. |
I hope that’s all you have in common. Six marriages, five divorces. Yikes! |
|
So it's about music rights, huh? I had no idea.
Dvd would work, but I was hoping to stream. |
| Moonlighting is another one with music copyright issues. |
|
I've seen a lot of parallels for my 30 something kids, except for a few esoteric generational things, like Hope being not Jewish, so they were a "mixed marriage." That's not really even a thing now culture wise, and the clothes of course, but so many other things are very relatable.

Yes, they used to seem so old to me, now in my mid 40s and realize they were so young

| Put Northern Exposure on the “great shows lost to copyright issues” list. |
