Saw the other thread and was curious, for those of you who have seen it/kids have seen it, what age is best? My DD and DS are in 6th and 8th. DD really wants to watch it, but it seems kinda iffy. What do you guys think?
Kids in elementary school have watched it. 6th and 8th are plenty old enough
I’d let kids that age watch it. It’s a fun show.
My 6th grader watched it. He's very sensitive to anything scary, so we watched together and it was fine.
It can get pretty bloody, but my 7th grade DD loved it. Sit with them, just in case.
My third grader enjoyed it.
5th grader loved it but was scared by the monster and would close her eyes when she thought it was about to appear.
Almost to the end of watching it with 5th grade DD, we are pretty limited in what we let her watch and thought this was a good one for messages about boundaries and love interests and staying true to yourself while also being popular among her peers.
Ps: it’s a fun show, DH and I watched it all the way through first before giving it the green light. Enjoying it a second time knowing all the twists. |
High schoolers watch it
Not they don't. It's a baby show |
My 4th and 6th graders watched it.
My six and seven year olds both loved it.
My 5th and 8th grader watched it. 5th grader got a little creeped out at scenes with the monster but overall she enjoyed it. Certainly nothing in it I’d be concerned about her watching, and we’re relatively strict about media consumption
It was the favorite show of all the fifth graders this year
