I find this interesting to think about. My own kids are in early high school.
Those of you who work closely with people approx. age 30 and under (i.e. college graduates within the past 10 years): Where did your most impressive young colleague go to college? For me it's Oberlin. She is new to my team and I recently just looked up her Linkedin because I was so curious as to where she went to school. She was a biochemistry major but is working in consulting. |
Iowa.
Millersville in Pennsylvania. I hired him over a Harvard grad because his portfolio was better and he had actually hustled and gotten internships.
Duke. Super brilliant, processes information unlike anyone I’ve ever met
University of Delaware - Honors
Two stand out - Bates & NC State
Princeton (it hasn’t eliminated my anti-Princeton bias, though. I’m working on it)
Harvard
Penn
Syracuse
Providence
Auburn
UVA. A total machine that needs very little direction. A true self-starter.
Texas State
Caltech
