| I see the recent thread that was focused on popular shoes for middle school girls. DS is in 6th grade and in middle school and he needs some new running shoes and another pair for days he doesn’t have PE. Are Jordans all the rage? Or Nikes? I need all the help I can get. Would appreciate any recommendations! TIA! |

My son wears adidas.
But the kids who are sneaker heads are going to be in a different level with specific types of Nikes etc. I’m glad my son is not that. I think you’re generally pretty safe with a nike or addidas or under armor if your goal is just to have a functional shoe that no one will throw shade at. |
| Thank you pp — this is helpful! Definitely not looking for the trendiest/most expensive—just something that blends in within the milieu. Thanks! |
| Just get Nike air max. Not the coolest but will blend in. |
| Any type of Nike |
| It depends on the school and the kids. Mine like basic Adidas. They fit him the best/most comfortably. You can get Adidas on eBay at reasonable prices from the Adidas store. They often have 50% off sales and free shipping. |

Basic white AF1. Can't go wrong. |

+my HS son prefers these. |
| We get whatever is on sale at Dicks. Usually Under Armour. My son doesn’t care much. |
| Adidas UltraBoost for everyday shoes. |
| Whatever DSW has in stock in his size. |
| The people suggesting panda and AF1 are thoroughly confused. Those are only popular among little white girls who are about 15 years behind the trend. Buy your kids what they like, not what everyone else likes. |
