| Umm this isn’t true. My spouse is blind. All we get on taxes is the ability to increase our standard deduction, which doesn’t matter bc we itemize |

The feds give you a break too i believe.
If you are legally blind, your standard deduction increases by $1,700 as well. If you are married filing jointly and you OR your spouse is 65 or older, your standard deduction increases by $1,350. |

Do you know how much money many disabled people spend on assistive devices? Often not covered by insurance?
Get outta here with the implication this is some sort of advantage. I'd be fine if blind people paid ZERO TAXES. Why? It's a tiny portion of the population. |

| The disabled are more unemployed and under-employed than any other category of people (gender, race, ethnicity, whatever). Most human beings are ok with cutting them a little bit of slack like a small break on their taxes |
