Ladies, how did you meet your rich husband?

Anonymous
- how old were you when you met?
- how did you know he is or would be rich?
- is he a good husband otherwise, too?

I’ll go. Met DH freshman year of college. We instantly hit it off and started hooking up. I realized quickly that he was really special. He was so smart, practical and ambitious. Unlike my dysfunctional LMC family, his parents were Ivy League educated and high earning, even though divorced. We were both finance majors and were interested in living a nice life and wanting the best.

We broke up for a bit post college but out in the real world I didn’t know anyone as smart or ambitious or into me as him. He quickly rose in his field and was making 200k at 30 when he proposed. We are now 31, married, baby on the way, homeowners and he makes 400k already. We are best friends and I never feel stressed out around him. We have the same vision, of giving our kids the best upper class life we can. In a loving, functional home.

His family can be a handful but overall keep to themselves and do not interfere in our lives.

I am so lucky!

I was 23, attending a very exclusive party for only beautiful young women and wealthy guys who were emotionally available and mentally stable.

We all lined up and he picked me while Taylor Swift played in the background and he lined the floor with $100 bills to woo me towards him.

He was my divorce lawyer. I picked him because he was ugly and I thought I’d get a better settlement if I wasn’t distracted by my lawyer’s hotness. He is not as rich as my first husband, but he has a heart of gold.

We lived near each other when I was in college.
- how old were you when you met? I was 17. He was 21
- how did you know he is or would be rich? I didn't really think about it. I wasn't looking to find a husband, and don't think wealth would be something I'd consider
- is he a good husband otherwise, too? he's an awesome husband.

- how old were you when you met? 28. We met at NYU.
- how did you know he is or would be rich? I dated him for a year and then went home with him for his best friend’s wedding. I started to realize on the plane to Singapore. Confirmed when I went to his grandma’s huge estate.
- is he a good husband otherwise, too? Yes.

Did you adopt a Cavalier King Charles? And a baby? And then have a baby?

It feels like we know you.
