Well clearly abortion is off the table for those folks. They probably believe the children should be taken and adopted out to married heterosexual couples.

It's not so much single motherhood. It's absentee fathers.

I contend that so many young men have behavioral issues because they don't have a strong male role model.

Abolish welfare (including any kind of subsidized childcare or Medicaid)

Children being raised by single fathers is very rare, and when it does, outcomes are better than they are for single mothers.

PP here. The belief is that banning birth control would force women to be more careful about who they have sex with. Birth control offers a false sense of safety. If it were banned, women would only have sex with a couple of men at most.

Abolishing social programs would mean it would be so impossible to raise a child without a present father that nobody would bother attempting to do so.

I am a Democrat + feminist, and believe single motherhood is a problem for women + kids. Men get off nearly free w/o any concerns. I would make men have vasectomies if they refuse to pay child support.

i don’t see it as a problem. The problem is the lack of money and lack of support single mothers are given.

Single mothers are demonized because they are women.

If most single parents were men they would be given support and accolades.

Misogyny is a lot deeper than people realize.
