Swim suits for 12 yo girl.

The selection from the girl's section is too "baby" for my DD. Where are you finding good tankini or generous coverage bikini?

+1 for Athleta. Also Abercrombie kids. They're usually pretty basic prints and have sporty styles.

We've had luck with Amazon. They aren't the most durable, but if you have a few for the season they can be in the rotation. They have a cute high waisted bottom and sort of sports bra style top in a lot of color combinations. It looks kind of retro but not baby or like a functional tank style.

Boden Teen.

This is hard, OP. My daughter wears only traditional swim suits now (TYR, Speedo) because she refuses a two-piece.

Billabong girls, and also O’Neill girls swimsuits. Both are staples in our house. Cool suits.

I didn’t know Boden had a teen section so I took a look and no, none of these things work for a 12 year old who is already cognizant of styles being babyish. Come on.

Athleta Girl and Target for cheaper ones. They will come out with more in a couple months. Also, Lands End has some that are simpler and not babyish, but also not as stylish. Also you can try Nordstrom or Macys. None of these stores have as many in stock now, but check back in a couple months.

If busty, try Lands End. Honestly their tankini sets are super cute and not overly sexy for a 12yo.

I’m the first Athleta poster. My 11. Year old would have loved this Boden suit at age 4. She would not wear that for anything now at 11. Come on. OP started with the concern of girls’ suits being too babyish.
