They do, particularly with osteopenia, bone density. Most people are deficient in D and B12. Every dr I've had insists on it.

B12, magnesium and vit D but only from Sept 21-March 21.

B12 because I was deficient and it gave me back some energy
Magnesium because it helps with my afib
Vit D because I become deficient in the dark half of the year
