I would like to start having a smoothie for breakfast on the way to work. I’d love to hear about recipes that people really enjoy. Thanks.

This does it for me -

1 banana
1-2 tbsp hemp hearts
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Almond milk
1 tsp maple syrup

It is like a delicious shake. If you want it to last like a meal, add plain unsweetened full fat yogurt and/or nut butter.

Lately I've been blending pineapple, ginger, fresh turmeric and a whole lemon (including peel) and then freezing. I will then add this to a smoothie with protein powder or yogurt or oat milk and other ingredients as desired. It's really yummy and super immune boosting.

- Almond milk
- Frozen berries (mix of blueberries, strawberries, whatever I have on hand in the freezer)
- Chia seeds
- Honey

I've lately become a big fan of frozen pitaya (dragonfruit). It turns the smoothie a lovely electric pink color.

Frozen cherries, frozen banana, almond milk, chocolate protein powder. Add spinach. You don’t taste it at all!
