If Jen was really overwhelmed as a “single” mom at Christmas, why not ask her grown, adult kids to help out. We all know she’s not really overwhelmed, it’s all for show, for social media. I wonder if she could stay off social media for 24 hours.

Did Caleb ever join the military?

Caleb never made it past the swearing-in ceremony to basic training, but Jen never addressed it. I felt so bad for him, as the mom of an Army reservist. The military is a great option to learn job skills and gain a sense of confidence and purpose. I was hoping he would go the military route to get away from the chaos of his family and learn to drive a forklift or pilot a sub.

I would pay cash money to see Tyler on skis.

No way is Remy driving in those mountains and snow.

I hope Gavin and his wife have a nice first Christmas together.

Even in her “riding in the backseat while my grown kids drive” post, she is shilling the hell out of everything.

wow.

“Plus they are funny, and I value that more than integrity. It is important to be funny in our family, like Jesus said. As mentioned, we aren't good people, but we are entertaining people, and that counts for something.”

“Don’t forget to buy my parenting course for $69! YOU TOO can have grown kids that can’t hold down a full time job - but you will HOWL with laughter at their first DUI!”

Ummmm. No thanks, Sis.

For a parent to say being "funny" is more important than integrity. Wow.

I wonder if they’re even funny. Somehow, I doubt it. In one of her stories, her favorite son, is shooting the middle finger at her. Maybe he hates it that she’s always filming, but it’s not funny. And certainly nothing to post.

Wow. What was the wider context of that statement? I assume she was trying to be funny (and failing) but even then it is just . . . no.

One minute she is doing a five minute sermon on her living room floor, the next she is posting her grown kid flipping the camera off. Classy

She seems to really want to show off that Amazon fast fashion polyester ski suit.

I will admit there was a time i thought some of jen’s writing was funny. But seeing her talk on social media in recent years i have never once found her funny in person. In fact i find her un-funny (aka cringey and abrasive and try-hard) so its interesting how she constantly reminds us all how hilariously funny she and her people are.

Exactly, she was trying to be funny and failing so badly, again.

Points for self awareness!!

I have a feeling that what she is guffawing about as being funny is probably masquerading as funny but in actuality is meanness, for that is what she finds funny. I picture her family to be the type of people who make fun of everyone else and Jen finds that to be hilarious.

The reason she loves that her kids are this age is because her emotional maturity is that of a young adult and she thinks they are her peers. I’d hate to be around a 50 year old woman who talked and acted like a 20 year old. I can’t imagine being friends with someone like that.
