Biden in Kiev

Tears of joy- such a milestone for Ukraine.

So much gratitude to Lt Col Vindman for making this possible.

President Biden has promised today in Kiev additional military aid, in addition to civilian aid such as paying government salaries and pensions.

We are grateful to US, grateful to the Lt Col Vindman and so grateful to President Biden and his family.

Congratulations.

I am happy for Ukraine to receive support as it battles the monstrous aggression of Putin’s criminally insane imperial ambitions. It is so heartbreaking what horrors civilians have been subjected to. It is also heart breaking for innocent Russians who never wanted this war of choice. There are no winners.

May God bless Ukraine’s ability to fight off and end this horrific war. May God have mercy on all the innocent civilians who have suffered so much, and strengthen Democratic allies unity and ability to stand up for democratic freedom and Justice for innocents in this terrible war.

So happy for Ukraine. For those who scream “no more $$ for Ukraine!” Note:
We aren’t giving them money$ we are giving them equipment that is worth so much $$. That equipment is old and would be going to scrap in 5 years. That equipment will get replaced by new and better, regardless if we gave it away or not.

I was a reluctant Biden voter but have come to appreciate this man who has been an outstanding leader for not just for American people, but for the world.
Thank you Joe!

Such a contrast from the US President who tried to blackmail the Ukrainian president into submission to Russia's whims.

Let's remember how the Obama-Biden administration dealt with Ukraine.

Sept., 2014
White House rebuffs Ukraine appeal for weapons

The White House refused to include weapons in an aid package announced Thursday for embattled Ukraine despite an impassioned plea by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko for more military assistance.
Poroshenko said blankets and night-vision goggles from the USA are important, "but one cannot win a war with blankets!"

Just stop. Trump with held weapons because the “corrupt” Ukrainians would not go a long with his plan manufacture a political scandal on Biden’s son. Nothing is lower vs that.

If Biden had been killed by the Russians I doubt the republicans would be willing to hold the Russian to account. We all know the true colors of the republicans and those colors run.

What are you talking about? It would be up to Kamala to hold them to account.

Because the leadership at the time were corrupt and not on a path to being US allies. Hence the whole "replace the lead prosecutor" who was not rooting out corruption. Is there any evidence that the current government isn't taking corruption seriously?

Wasn't it 2022 when Biden said that our support would depend on whether it was a "minor or major incursion?" Maybe, it was 2021. Seems to me that was not helpful.

Republicans would aid Russia and openly try to stop any US from doing any reprisals.

Nothing to see here...just a Republican congressman equating Russia's invasion of Ukraine with migrants seeking refuge in the US.

You have to wonder at what point it will become necessary for MAGA republicans to go on watch lists.
