Carmel IN looks amazing, great schools, good people safe, etc

Anyone have first hand experiences
Houses are only 1m-2m
Public schools are all 10 and the student body looks respectful and polite
Makes our McLean area and school look like trash despite it being 2x more. We live in a. 4m home.

Disparaging posts about Indiana being a retrograde, backwater hellscape in 3…2…1…

Is a .4m home = $400,000 home?

I grew up in Indiana, about an hour from Carmel. It’s always been known as affluent, safe and excellent in education and in swimming (among other sports). I love Indianapolis, and you would also be a few hours from Bloomington, a few hours from Chicago, etc. I think it would be a great place to live with a family.
