I know I can’t say anything, but it’s fishy that someone gets sick on a Friday before a long weekend… |
| No, unless there is a pattern to the behavior. |
| Sure. |
| No. Because I don't care. |
| Only if it's happening on a regular basis with the same person. |
| No |
4x a year? |
That's not worthy of raising it as an issue. |
|
I outsmarted you and called in sick on Wednesday!
PS I AM sick and am home |
|
I had no idea illness doesn't strike on Fridays! Great news.

do they have sick days available to use? then it is none of your business.
some people don't really get sick. my daughter hasn't been sick since 10th grade. she's in her 30s now. she uses her sick days for mental health days. |
Of course they are unlikely to be "sick" - but who cares? We all know the deal, right? Are you manager/supervisor? Is it a mission critical role? What's the line of work? |
| Why should I care? |
| Yes, and on Mondays. But guess who is up sick throwing up and not going into work today? Me. Ironic. |
+1 This is the last thing an ill person should have to worry about. What their sh1tty coworkers think |
