Do you send your grown kids something for V day?

Do you?

Nope.

I used to. Just a cute card and their favorite candy. I didn’t this year and likely won’t again. He doesn’t seem to care. My daughter might though. Time will tell.

My mom sends me a card. I sent my college age dd 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies and a card that her younger brother and I made.

Well my kids are in college, so not sure if that's "grown" enough LOL but I sent them some chocolates.

I'm 48 and my mom sometimes sends me something like chocolate. Not regurlarly though. I don't expect it but it's a nice surprise when she does.

My mother sent me a card and chocolates. Same for the kids. Honestly, I wish that she would stop doing this. I hate it. I get a box of throw-away Hallmark junk that goes directly in the trash. I don't need the chocolates and kids get enough sweets from the valentine swap at school.

I say thank you always but wish she would just stop. There's a huge generational gap here.

Not anymore. Just a family group text message. They have their own spouses/SO's so have someone to celebrate with.

My Dad sent me a card every single year...but he passed away in October. I put up some of the older ones I still have.

Yep. I still love them. And they still send me a card.

This makes me sad. I hope when DD has kids this won’t be her response.

Have you ever told her to stop? Or do you just expect her to know that from your thank you?
