| There are not a lot (any?) $4 million houses in that neighborhood. The description really played up the high quality of the finishes, etc. But I'll be surprised if they can get anywhere close to that much. |
| Lot sold for 1M, but I'm not really seeing a 3 million dollar house |
|
And then you have this one in Lyon Village for a full $1 million less
https://www.redfin.com/VA/Arlington/1801-N-Herndon-St-22201/home/11247821 I don't think anything in the neighborhood has even sold for $3 million (although there's a giant new one on Jackson that just finished) |
| This is the most boring 4 million house I’ve ever seen. |
| How in the world is that house $4m? Nothing special about the finishes, no pool. Would be a massive no for me. |
| For $4 million I do not expect a shower curtain in any bathroom. |
| With houses in this price range, the strategy very much seems to be to throw an aspirational price out there and hope that some rich person will bite. The description is pretty nauseating and over-the-top ("Symmetry and balance are felt everywhere, leading to a sense of calm and natural beauty." LOL), but again I think they're just trying to appeal to a rich person with more money than common sense. |

Help me out. I'm poor.
What does one do in this room?
|
Maybe a dog wash or clean tools & other equipment ? |
| Dog washing |
| That's pretty damn blah for a $4m house. The neighborhood isn't great (not bad, but not great) and it's not all that walkable unless you like really long walks. |
| Looks like a room made for the late Jeffrey Dahmer. |
It rubs the lotion into its skin or it gets the hose again. |
| The small lot (quarter acre) sold 5 years ago for $930,000. |
