I suspect that this price is an error.

I have been to Oxford, Mississippi a few times & I frequently recommend Ole Miss, but something is amiss in Ole Miss territory.

I thought so too, but there’s at least one other house priced similarly, and this house sold for $1.2M in 2019.

Agree, but the quality of life in the South is much better than in most of the US. Those who criticize the South have probably never lived there.

These houses have walk scores in the 60s. Oxford is 60 miles from the nearest Amtrak station. The high school is a 7/10 on GreatSchools.

I’m not denying that that could be the case, however.
