My goal is to lose 20 pounds by June and I am so thrilled I managed to lose 4 in January. I know that's slow, but slow and steady wins the race, right?
How are your goals looking? |
Congrast, that's awesome!
I need to lose weight desperately. I bought this recently, and so far it's been great. I'm able to get a 1-mile walk done in 20 minutes. I turn on a TV show and get going. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09368W3XL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details |
I'm 7 lbs down from Thanksgiving. Slow and steady. Starting strength training and feel great. My goal is 5 more lbs then will reevaluate. I'm more focused on strength and fit of clothes but seeing the scale under 150 will be nice. Gained 19 in COVID but if I don't lose it all and just lower BMI, I'm good with that. Under 145 my face is too thin anyway. |
PP here. Forgot to congratulate you OP. 4 pounds in a month is a lot. Be kind to yourself if next month is less. Having a June goal sounds realistic. Keep up the great work! |
This is not slow. At all. 1/2 to a pound a week is healthy. |
5 pounds since 1/1/23. Goal is 20 pounds lost by June. In the past I find that I lose weight quickly in jaguar and february but then I can't move the scale for a while. I've been using my fitness pal to track calories, significantly reduce wine, sugar and snacks. Increased my exercise. I would love this time to reach goal and maintain it! |
