Yup, Jenelle explaining to Barb all of the machinations that it took for her and Dave to have a weekend away (ONE WEEK AFTER HER BABY WAS BORN, but whatevs!) was exhausting to me.

I don't understand why Kail chooses actual partners to have her babies with. With the money she gets, get arrificially inseminated! I had a friend who did it, she hand selected her seed (well, not really, but you know what I mean!) and paid less than $15000. No baby-daddy drama! But I think she thrives on the chaos.

I can't begin to imagine how annoying those logistics are. And she isn't the nicest in return, so you can't blame them for not working with her. Such drama.

I have divorced friends who are so accommodating to one another. It's so refreshing watching them swap weekends without drama, tack on extra days to their weekends for vacations, and generally just SHARE, in a friendly way that has the child's best interest at heart.

I don't like Brianna and her angry sister either. I cringed at her comment to her daughter (when her daughter wanted to get her hair straightened), "White girls can't even hold braids in their hair. They want curly hair like you." The comment itself was not that bad, but she said "white girls" with such bitterness and anger. Briana, honey, look in the mirror, you have straight hair too.

I think it's just that white guys generally like thinner girls than she is.

I think it's just that white guys generally like thinner girls than she is.

My armchair diagnosis is that Kail has a subconscious aversion to the kind of guys that Suzi dated and has developed an attraction for/ seeks out men who do not fit that mold. Suzi was clearly an awful parent whose inconsideration for Kail has left a lasting impact on her personality. I don't like Kail but I can definitely see why she is so unlikeable and how that came to be. She has had absolutely no stability or peace in her life and quite literally I think does not know how to exist in a normal day to day family situation or show or accept love from anyone but her kids.

I absolutely see how it came to be as you said. Makes perfect sense, but everybody has shit. Jail has the resources to get actual HELP to fix what was broken by her POS mother.

I agree kind of. She absolutely should be in therapy if for no other reason than to make sure she can maintain positive interpersonal relationships with her sons' THREE fathers for their benefit. But if I'm being 100% honest, I see women like Kail and Jenelle and just understand that, though it may not be their fault, they are unfixable in some very fundamental ways. They are sad examples of how broken adults come from messed up childhoods. Kail (and anyone else like this) owe it to themselves and their families to TRY but I don't in any way think people like them can ever function the way adults who grew up with love, stability, nurturing do. The best they can do is learn tactics to ameliorate and mitigate their most destructive tendencies.

I love how every season we see Jenelle proclaim all over social media how she has changed. She's so mature and now everyone will believe her that she different. Well she's still the same ungrateful brat that chooses men over her children. With every one, she adopts a new persona and wants her kids to adapt to it as well. She still has no ability to parent her kids and makes no effort. She leaves the baby when she is only a few days old. She can't handle Kaiser having a normal tantrum. Then she has a tantrum herself when she wants to go to the gym but doesn't communicate that. Girl is an absolute mess.

But I will give her one thing that she has changed about. She got her 16th arrest two years ago. It's a record that she hasn't been in trouble since then.
