If I were Trump I would just get Vivek and family and JD Vance and family to hold rallies every other week in Loudoun and Fairfax. The Indian American population there is huge and very culturally conservative. |

It is culturally conservative. But one thinks that if they enjoyed corrupt, kleptocratic government, they would have just stayed in India where many of them enjoyed the advantages of a higher caste and being part of the dominant religion. It’s not fun being a well educated well off minority in a party whose main selling point is that high school dropouts and other intellectual degenerates should be in charge because they are white men who believe in Jeebus. |

The polling is basically faulty on all sides. The actual poll - at the election box, has been moving towards the Dems since 2018.
As such, when we see right winger touting polls that show things like "tied in Virginia" - when Virginia ends up being on par for the last several cycles in the Dems favor, it will be easier for Trump to shout "rigged rigged rigged" and have the idiots believe him. |

It’s not right wing or left wing to quote a poll. A poll is a poll. 538 seems to put together many polls from many sources and posts them. The current slew of polls show Trump and Biden tied in a few and one had Biden up by 2. The Florida polls show one where Biden down by 4, but 3 others show Trump up by 8-11 points. They may be off a little bit, but they are what they are. Don’t get upset about what the numbers show. |

Do you believe that VA is essentially tied? Does that comport with your understanding of VA? Does it align with what you're seeing in other polls? |

If you want to believe that, go for it. Republicans have underperformed polls for two years, and they will again this fall. |

No, I actually don't believe they are tied in VA, when you look at people who actually vote. BUT - what these polls show, I think, is that VA is winnable for the Republicans. It's going to take a tremendous amount of work. But I do think it's possible. I would not have said that at this point in 2020. |
