APS overdose at Wakefield

This is crazy.

What can we do to combat this growing opioid epidemic? DS says the use by students isn't even secret. There are always drug deals happening or drugs being taken when he walks into the bathrooms.

Drug sniffing dogs? Mandatory drug testing? And there’s no real good answers unfortunately. This is a tragedy for everyone involved.

And the parents are... where in this education of the kids? Both in terms of the dangers, and also coping with their stressors?

So many ripple effects. The Marshall girls basketball team was going to celebrate its seniors tonight at a game with Wakefield. But APS cancelled the sporting events at the school so the game has to be postponed. The family members and friends who arranged their schedules to attend the event got told "tough luck" on short notice.

This is not a good look for you. I get it but this is the thing you say to your spouse or friend that a teen's overdose is inconvenient for you.
