Plateauing or at my body/stomach's minimum?

Anonymous
I have been 127 pounds for 6 months, only 5'3. I gained a few pounds over winter break and have been working to lose them, but I was hoping to get down to 124. I've been at 127 for over 2 weeks. I am eating around 1600-1700 calories a day, so not a huge deficit, but also exercising enough so that I'm burning around 2000 a day. I was hoping to lose even .5 pounds a week. Am I at a point where I am the lowest I will be based off how much daily food I prefer to eat? I haven't had dessert in weeks, I am feeling deprived and for nothing. Should I stop trying?

2 weeks isn't a plateau

What do you consider a plateau then? The internet says a few days to a few months.

I mean it's not a plateau that tells you anything. You could have lost half a pound of fat and be up half a pound of water weight for any reason. It's just not a long enough time to give you any information.

You can definitely tell the difference when you are short. You must have never been in the 120s

LOL no one can tell the difference between a 22 and a 22.5 BMI. It’s not all that skinny. Closer to overweight than underweight.
